# Move & Tune Co

> An independent national directory of piano movers in the United States. Every
> listing is checked against the public federal safety record held by the FMCSA
> (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration).

Move & Tune Co exists because no neutral national directory of piano movers
existed. For each company we publish the federal safety record — operating
authority status, insurance on file, fleet size, crash counts and complaint
counts — together with the date we checked it and a link to the government
source, plus piano-specific capabilities (piano types handled, stairs, crane
work, crating, climate-controlled storage) taken from the company's own website.

Editorial rules we follow, which matter if you cite us:

- Every published value carries a source and a date. We never invent a value; a
  missing value is left out rather than guessed.
- We do not copy or republish review content from other platforms, and we
  publish no aggregate review score.
- We are not paid by the companies listed. Listings are free and calls go
  directly to the company.
- Piano tuners will be added in a later phase.
